This is one of the most vital areas where the activities of MicroCom is concerned. The Course conducted by MicroCom are well structured, practical oriented and designed in accordance with syllabus and methodologies certified and recommended by the National Council for Information Technology in Sri Lanka (CINTEC). Further, these are conducted by well-qualified academic staff including visiting lectures of universities who have gained wide range of teaching experience on information technology and allied fields both locally and internationally.
Computer for Kids Computer for kids is a specially designed training programme for young school children within the age group of 6 to 12 years. This is handled by a lady teacher who possesses number of years teacher experience on kids computer in a leading international school in the country. Further, the syllabus and course materials are prepared in terms of the regulations set by the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES). In addition to the above, recognized certificate shall be issued those who successfully complete the above.
Computer for School Leavers and Job Seekers This is designed for school leaver as well as job seekers those who are keen on pursuing their studies on computing in order to secure for an employment in this field. This is suitable for students for all academic streams and no prior knowledge of computing is necessary.
Computer for Professionals on Various Disciplines This is specially designed for professionals on various disciplines and classes are conducted to suit their needs in evenings on week days (from 7-9 pm), which are convenient to them. Further, Individual also could be arranged on request.
Computer for Business Community The main objective of this is to provide required training for business community depending on various needs to enhance their businesses using modern technology.
For the above courses, chargers are quite reasonable and could be paid in installments. Further, unlimited practical sessions would be provided using latest technology in a well-equipped computer lab.
